shunt F at SW8 closed ( i tried both cloth and open)
the problem is : Ethernet is not discoverable neither with device Explorer nor DS manager.Firewall is off i tried to reset the firmware through SW1 procedure as described in manual but with no result.
the led status is as follow:
  • D101 steady when the cable inside (low flashing every 15 sec)
  • left led at RJ45(close to D101) steady on, Right side led steady off
  • D10 is steady green ( very speed flashing)D9 is flashing (noticeable)
  • D1 is on Green , and (D2+D3+D4) IS OFF
i tried to test it through Ethernet switch and direct to PC, with tested cables but nothing changedany suggestion ?

Hi Wael
we have received the UCM/ETH02

We were able to see the IP address using DS Manager at 192.168.1.55

We changed the IP address to 10.0.0.73 for testing as you can see from the screenshot

DS Explorer shows the firmware to be Uni3.13 which is firmware for Universal UCM, not the normal UCM
You would need to change the ETH02 firmware to general UCM in order to work with UCM for Comfigurator etc
There is nothing wrong with the UCM that we can see

Do you try it on another computer?

would you like us to return it?

Thant's a good news, thank you for your effort, as well,  i would appreciate if you could update the firmware for general UCM at your side.
however, is there is any chance that the comfort Ultra board it self could be the reason.
yesterday when we re-install the Ultra board at the site, the board are not recognizing any inputs except the first Zone one.
as well we couldn't accessing it normally using the UCM serial, means we access it one time from 15 trial with connection failure message!!
any suggestion ??

There may be a problen with the Comfort or the prgramming,  but this should not affect beiung to detect the IP address of the ETH02

Can you change the comfort PCB and see if you still have the problem

We have tested the Ultra board and UCM/ETH02, there were no problems found
The ETH02 could be discovered by DS Manager and the ULT was able to be writteen and read by Coomfigurator. There is only zone 1 in the system not zones 2 to 8

Please send the cclx file for testing
