Hi
I had my friend visiting me. He is building house and is interesting in anything regarding home automation. And Comfort was one of topic.
He liked it a lot until we came to the control function.
Controlling by keyboard was a bit old fashion and my wife haven't learned how to use it during 15 years.
Android app was as usual messy with different control buttons. He asked me how it can be in Alexa time
Did I missed anything what happened during last 5 years?

UCM-PI Raspberry Pi intergration making it possible that all controlls can be done via voice control, setting it up can be a pain though, but once it is you can control anything with voice comands.....

Yes the UCM/Pi is a very powerful module in automation and IoT, see http://www.comfortforums.com/forum138/5087.html although it requires quote a bit of technical knowledge in this area.
Controlling  by keypad has never been suggested as  the best way to control the home. The real benefit of Comfort is the way things can be done automatically, eg by Time Program, ior by logical conditions based on events and time of day. Interfacing to 3rd parrty systems like KNX, Modbus, Raspberry Pi allows the strength of these other systems to be part iof Comfort.

On the alarm side, Comfort can handle multiple partitions (up to 9 depending on the product), ie allow different areas of the home or office to work like independent security systems. The 4G  GSM module allows sms and dial by mobile networks. The ethernet and wifi interfaces allow remote and local access by app and software. The occupancy feature allows you to check if the premises are occupied based on the activity of motion detectors.

Comfort is a solid and reliable, and most of all practical system for the home and office. If you need a fancy user interface Comfort may not be the most advanced, but asI say all can be done with the external interfaces like modbus and kNX
Other than alarm and automation, Cytech also has Hotel Room Control, Industriall control (IRIO with plug in submodules), Monitoring and sensing of Temperature, Humidity and Water Leakage.
