Hi
I use the app both at home and away from home. A suggested improvement is to have a button on the login page to select the required LAN or Internet connection. I find it a bit tedious to have to go into the configuration menu each time I need to change the network type.
Even better would be for the app to recognise that I'm connected to my home wifi and select LAN automatically or select Internet if I'm connected to another network.
Thanks

It may be difficult to know which is your home network
having a button on the login page to change between local and remote is something we are considering

Thanks I think this would be a good enhancement for a future release!
Wexfordman - My mobile reception at home is almost non-existent and would prefer to have the performance of the LAN connection when using the app for local control.

I think in many cases, depending on the Internet Service provider, it may not be possible to connect by Internet ie 3G while you are connected on the Local network ie wifi. Somehow it is prevented

Yes I've tried connecting to the internet IP address on my local LAN and it doesn't work, so I need to use the LAN address at home and the internet address out and about.
