Hi All
I would like to use Homegate to integrate to minder.
Application 1 make it possible to retrieve minder zone information
Application 208 gets used in C-Touch Touch Screen to emulate the keypad, but from Homegate I can not get the info or emulate the keypad.
The new color touch screens of clipsal also make use of homegate to integrate to other systems.
Until now I made use of resposes with normal c-bus groups to arm/disarm minder with homegate and secure the page with the homegate security level as a security measure.
This is not the nice and proper way and wonder if somebody else got this working, and what the issue is with the security aplication (208) and minder.
Maybe it would be possible to do this with the help of logic from the PASCAL engine running behind homegate.
Thanks
Louis

We are not familiar with Homegate so I cannot advise
The Security Application 208 is implemented in the Comfort/MinderPro UCM/CBUS accprding to the CBus-enabled specifications. Hence any other Cbus device which implements this application should be able to access the messages of emulate the keypad. In fact you just define the application 208 and assign the keys as group addresses, so I dont know why this cannot be done in Homegate
Try asking the the questions on the Cbus forum http://www.cbusforums.com/forums/index.php

Hi louis.
Application 1 and 208 is no longer needed, with the new piced and home gate
software.
For Keypad function on home gate,go to component properties-under special function tab drop down to security keypad-then just add the keypad number to suit.
For live zone status go to component properties-under system IO tab-add status to the key function-then tick in built box-then drop to security zone status-then add your zone.
Hope that helps.
