Hello all.

Does anyone have experience using Visonic wireless detectors together with Comfort?

I'm considering using Visionic outdoor detector and Visonic Receiver to expand Comfort to a zone where I don't have cabling in place:

Outdoor Motion Detector TOWER-20AM MCW

Receiver MCR-308

Any ideas/experiences will be welcome.

Thanks,
Nino Torres

Used for 5 years visionic wireless products (internal pir sensors, curtain pir sensor, windows contacts) without a single problem, with the receiver MCR-308.
No problem also between two concrete floors (distance between receiver and sensors approx. 20 meters)
Works perfectly wih comfort.
Never missed a shot.
Before sending a message, the sensor checks the frequency. If the freq is clear, it sends. If not, it waits until freq become clear again.
The receiver has outputs for battery warning and for jamming as well.

Hey Ingo,

Tell me, did you get your Visonic kit in SA?  If so, where?

I would like to put some wireless zones in, but have not been able to find the kit locally.

Thanks,

Clinton.

Hi Clinton,

Yes I did. Try 'ADI International' - speak to Niel Lazarus and they even deliver free of charge if I remember correctly.

Ingo
