I have comfigurator loaded on my PC and I have created a configuration which has now been uploaded to the alarm system. The only thing I don't seem to be able to find is that I have under the MODULE tab changed the UCM No. 2 type to GSM. How is this now uploaded as I don't seem to have this in any of the selected uploads section.
Also when I set the alarm in night mode the sensor in the specified area is disabled but can the main exit/entry area be changed to full arm just for night mode.

Good question
The Module type change is under Modules and Settings. When you make a change to the UCM type, and if you do a Write Selective, the Modules and Settings checkbox will be automatically checked for write
When you arm to Night Mode, the sensors programmed as PIR Away Zone Type will not be active in Night Mode
Sensors programmed as PIR Night Away Zone Type will be active in Night and Away mode, so this is for the sensors in the main entry area

Yeh I understand that the PIR Away Zone will not be active at night mode, but surley the entry/exit zone will not activate when the PIR is set off as it has a 20 second entry time delay. Can these zones not be changed in night mode to be active all the time?
Also I have tried what you suggested in the Modules & Settings and it makes no difference. I have changed the type for UCM02 to be GMS, done a selective upload/write to comfort but not boxes were selected. I ticked to upload Modules & Settings and this was completed. I then done a selective download from Comfort but under the Module tab there is only 1 UCM which is type GENERAL. Not sure what is happening as I am able to dial out but not send SMS messages.

You may be confused between Entry Door Zone Type and Entry path attribute on a zone
The entry delay starts when the Entry Door Zone Type zone is opened. This is normallly your front door and it is active in all securtity modes.
The PIR Night/Away or PIR away zone types do not have entry delay they will trigger the alarm if they are active in Night mode
When you open the front door in Night mode or away mode, the entry delay will start so you have time to disarm the sysem.
zones which have the Entry path attribute checked are not Entry Doors - they do not start the entry delay, but if the entry door is opened first then they do not cause an alarm when activated
For GSM set UCM 2 to GSM type and do a Full Write to Comfort
You should be able to select Phone type as SMS

Use Comfigurator, connect to a UCM05, UCM/232, UCM/USB or UCM/Ethernet
I am not sure what you mean by "upload your alarm system in my PC". We say Write to Comfort or Read from Comfort. This is on the Transfer Menu
Please give exact information about what equipment you have. I do not know if you are using Comfort or another system.
