I am trying to turn the Chime volume down on my DS and saw that there is mention of a J19 in the manual. For the life of me I cannot find it, can anyone point me in the right direction?
Adjust trimmer VR1A on the Door Station for lower volume of voice and
chime. Be careful that it does not make the voice level too soft. Also,
remove the shunt from header J19 on the Comfort PCB to soften the
doorbell chime. However, this also softens the siren tones on the
keypads.

Hi Ingo,
Could you please let us know the manual that instruction you have mentioned and we can look through that to find the solution. Anyway, here is the link to have manual for DP of our system and it say nothing about J19. http://www.cytech.biz/Downloads/Files/8/dp03man.pdf
Regards,

Thanks for your reply. In that manual, it is mention for the Door Station that connect to Comfort I system and I think you are using Comfort II which is the new product and there is no J19 on that. To adjust the volume of the Chime for new Comfort II system, you can refer to the DP manual I have provided above.

I think the confusion is that the manual in question has a heading of "Comfort II Installation Manual" and it didn't really say Comfort I when refering to the DS volume. I am sure it will be corrected in the next release.

Thanks Chiu, as you might have noticed, I am bit of a 'stickler' for detail. That's probably why I give Julian so much grey hair :-)
